Our statement

BHSM is a fast-growing, full service corporate law firm with a strong depth of expertise. The Firm was founded in 2012 by Mark Homan, Brian Baily, Giles Smyth and Joe McVeigh. BHSM has grown to over 20 solicitors and almost 50 professional staff.

Recognising there existed a gap in the market for a premium, partner-led, and responsive offering, BHSM developed a strategy that places their clients at the core, and an ambition to consistently deliver for them. BHSM strongly believe that the Firm’s growth and success depends on the growth and success of their clients.

Strategic hires enabled them to strengthen their offering across core areas, as well as continuing to identify and build new specialist areas – including, Banking and Financial Services, Construction & Engineering, Employment & Benefits, Healthcare and Life Sciences, Private Client and Renewable Energy.

In addition to a sustained focus on indigenous business, BHSM has continued to attract international clients with business interests in Ireland. They are strategic in their approach to ensure there is not an over-dependence on any one department, as the Firm continues to adapt to changing market conditions.
